Fixture

The game started off with Rhyl playing a fast paced, high intensity game, the stage seemed to be set for a very close game. Caernarfon opened up the score board with a break away try. Rhyl responded with an outstanding run by Si (hooker) from just outside the 22yd line, bulldozing through the Caernarfon defence to carry the ball over the line, Che Hudson converting to put Rhyl ahead. 
Rhyl dominated the scrum although, open play was very evenly matched. The closing minutes of the first half, put Caernarfon back on top, with a hard fought try.
The second half, pretty much the same as the first, with Caernarfon putting pressure on the Rhyl side and capitalising on small errors, to open up the lead further. 
Rhyl retained their composure and were rewarded with a great try after some great team work, with another outstanding try from Liam Heeney. 
Overall, an evenly matched game
