Rhyl 2nds 14-34 Wrexham 2nds

An experimental Rhyl side took on a strong Wrexham side at home this weekend and sadly lost

The Rhyl side struggled to bring down the big runners in a one sided first half which saw Wrexham dominate the opening exchanges. Towards the end of the first half Rhyls forwards started to get a foot hold in the game

Making several positional changes at half time Rhyl started to build from there strong set piece and scored two good tries through second row forward Phil Briggs and a penalty try after great work from winger Damon Price

So Rhyl won the second half and are optimistic of carrying that momentum into next week's home game against llangefni
