The Youth team played together for the last time at the Waen before they move on to university and move up to the senior ranks. They beat top of the table Dolgellau youth 25 -21 in a close fought game. Dolgellau had turned out with 14 players and Rhyl reduced their numbers to match them. Dolgellau lost another player to injury in the first half so Rhyl's Ben Parry changed shirts and played for the opposition. Try scorers for Rhyl were Tyler Prime (2). Max Drinkwater and Cail Hughes. A conversion by Owen Jones and a penalty for Tyler prime completed the scoring. With Dolgellau scoring three converted tries it meant the result could go either way until the final whistle.
