THE RHYL RUGBY GOLF CHALLENGE

In partnership with Andrew Carr, Captain of Rhuddlan Golf Club

THURSDAY, 1ST JUNE, 2017 AT RHUDDLAN GOLF CLUB

The second edition of the very popular Rhyl Rugby Golf Challenge takes place on Thursday, 1st June. This year we are delighted to be joined by Andrew Carr, Rhuddlan’s long-standing Professional and current Club Captain.

Teams of 4 in any combination of Men and Ladies, who are particularly welcome to join us, will contest a 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford competition for the “Sporting Legends Cup,” won last year by ..................... , with a prodigious score of 97 points!

The event is being run to raise money for Rhyl Rugby’s re-engagement programme, which, through the medium of rugby, is aimed at youngsters who are in danger of falling out of the educational system. This programme will be significantly enhanced when our Community Centre and Sports’ Complex at Tynewydd Field in Rhyl is up and running. This year we are working in partnership with Andrew Carr, the Captain of Rhuddlan GC, who is raising money foir St Kentigern’s Hospice.

The playing format is 4BBB Stableford with the best 2 scores to count on each hole with full handicap allowance. There will be a full range of prizes, plus the longest drive and nearest the pin.

The cost is £140 per team, which includes the green fee and the Celebration Dinner in the evening, with full fund-raising and entertainment.
