Rhyl 31-27 Bethesda in the WRU cup.

A very entertaining game with ten tries shared between the two very competitive teams. Rhyl scored 5 tries by Jack Stavely x2 Reeve Wright x2 and one from Haydn Taylor with 3 conversions from Owen Jones. Against a larger pack Rhyl fought hard at the break down but Bethesda had the stronger game around the fringes keeping Rhyl on the back foot. But with man of the match, scrum half Che Hudson, snipping from the scrums, Rhyl's backs used the ball well to run the Bethesda backs a merry dance. And a determined Rhyl defended their line under pressure for the last 5mins of the game to secure progression into the next round.
