How many to make a second team

:

After a difficult season Rhyl 2s finished the season on a high with a thumping win against Mold 3s.
Rhyl who we're playing their final game at the wean before moving to the new ground in Rhyl had 42 players to choose from both old and new.
The starting 15 skippered by SethPierce set the tone with the skipper himself scoring 2 of the sides 5 tries in the opening 20mins.
Rhyl then changed all 15 starters to play the second 20 led by Glynn Jones. Mold fought back to get there only score of the game but Rhyl managed another 3tries in this 20min half.
The third and final 20 mins saw Rhyl field another largely changed side. Stand in 2nd team captain Phil Briggs led the side in the final 20mins helping his side score another 5 tries with a special try for Nic Drinkwater who scored his first senior try for the Rhyl club.
Special mention should go Jim Griffiths who scored with his only touch, Mick Potter who managed to stumble over the line for a score and Owen jones who scored a few tries himself plus didn't miss a kick all day.
Finally thanks to all who showed up to see out the final game at the old ground.
