A good strong team performance gave Rhyl the edge in a close encounter at home to a strong Caernarfon side. A slightly slow start gave the visitors an early lead followed by a couple of Rhyl errors giving Caernarfon the lead at half time. Rhyl kept their heads up and came out with grit and determination in the second half to score 2 tries and bring a win within touching distance. Rhyl's team spirit showed in the second half which earnt them to score another 2 tries later on and held strong in defence with some fantastic tackles to hold on for the win. Tries scored by Christian Hone (2), Hari Owen and Harrison Evans with Callum Gardner kicking the final conversion. MOTM went to James Jackson and Harrison "Essex" Evans. It was also good to see the team sticking together in the brawl which was a result of another fantastic tackle by Callum Gardner..... I think the Caernarfon player is still picking hedge trimmings out of his teeth. Well Done to every single player.
