Todays game the boys went into, in high spirits and a lot of confidence, This confidence was wiped out in the first few minutes, with Abergele taking an early lead. This early lead, woke up the Rhyl boys and what ensued was a close and competitve match. The Rhyl boys played well in both the attacking and defencive game, with every player putting in maximum effort and working as a team. Some good tries from Henry and Elis with great support from the team, but Rhyl went into half time still trailing by one Try. The second half was delayed, while a new pitch was created, following the discovery of Foreign objects on the pitch. Rhyl went into the second half with a blinding try from Marley, followed by a coversion, his first try since joining the team and very well deserved it was. This was followed up with a second try by Marley a few minutes later. Now ahead in the scores, Rhyl picked up a gear and continued with some good pressure in the mid field, standing out was Dafydd Mathias, and Dewi Speakman having a great game. In the dying minutes of the game, Rhyl racked up a further two tries, Harley taking the ball across the line on both occasions, but with great support from the rest of the team, to make this a convincing victory for the Rhyl side.
