Benllech RFC 10 -19 Rhyl and District

Rhyl travelled to Bangor to play Benllech in this Div3 north west fixture, as Benllech ground was unavailable, with several players out through injury or unavailability. Facing the bright sun and the breeze behind them in the first half Rhyl’s team struggled to master the conditions. With Benllech using the high ball which was difficult to see in the sun, Rhyl were kept in their own half. Benllech’s large pack caused problems and they were to score the first try which was unconverted.   Rhyl came back with a try scored by Jason Blackmore after some good work by the Rhyl backs.
