Rhyl Rugby Club is just 6 months away from moving from its traditional Rhuddlan base after the Chairman announced the sale of the ground. The move to Rhyl will signal the end of nearly 50 memorable years at the Waen, the scene of an historic SWALEC Cup run in the mid 1990s, the famous North Wales Pub 7s, and arguably one of the most picturesque rugby locations in North Wales.   The sale of the Clubhouse, three rugby pitches and car park to North Wales Construction Ltd was completed in mid-March, so the focus is now on completing the new Tynewydd Field community and sports fa.....
